Crunchbase: Global Venture Funding In November Slows At Early StageVCs Gaining Larger Stakes
Global venture funding in November 2023 reached $19.2 billion, slightly lower than the previous month and down 16% from November 2022.
Early-stage funding saw the most significant decline, dropping by 34% year over year, while seed funding slowed by over 15%.
In contrast, late-stage funding increased by approximately 7% compared to November 2022.
Health care and financial services companies raised over $3 billion each, making them the sectors with the highest investment last month.
Artificial intelligence companies secured a total of $2.4 billion in funding, with notable investments in AI infrastructure companies.
