PitchBook: Kim Kardashian’s Skims Valued at $4B
Kim Kardashian closed a $270M Series C round at a $4B valuation for her company Skims with participation from Greenoaks Capital Partners, D1 Capital Partners, and Imaginary Ventures.
Skims is projecting 2023 revenue to rise 58% to $758M
They plan to expand to physical stores, athletic apparel & men's clothing
Skims' business model benefits from celebrity influence, and its ability to retain customers through a high rate of repeat purchases. The brand's strong presence on social media, especially among Generation Z, has contributed to its viral success and growth in popularity
