Crypto markets are reacting to lawmaker actions over the past few weeks
Paxos has been ordered to stop minting the BUSD stablecoin
Last week, Kraken settled with SEC over their staking service
The proposed rule change makes it harder for legacy funds to work with “unqualified custodians”
This comes as the SEC still reels after their close association with FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried
💸 NFT Alpha:
Over 90k ordinals have been “inscribed” on the blockchain over the past month, with over 20k on February 9th alone
The project involves using a Satoshi (the smallest divisible unit of a Bitcoin) to “code” the image directly into the block data
This comes as Ethereum NFTs rally, increasing in volume 35% over the past 30 days
All users that have bid on Blur are eligible for a “care package” of airdropped tokens
This is their third airdrop, with the first two rewarding NFT traders pre-launch and for NFT sellers that listed through Blur
Coinbase and Huobi have announced plans to list the token for trade in the near future

Despite IPO freeze, rising geopolitical tensions, and market instability, valuations for US-based startups remain strong in 2022.
The median seed valuations grew by 16.7% to $10.5 million, the highest ever recorded by PitchBook.
Exits were affected by an IPO freeze, resulting in a critical off-ramp for startups being closed, causing a drop in public exit valuations by 32% with median and average valuations falling to their lowest point in five years.
Startups in the venture growth stage faced a decline in valuations, dropping 17% from last year, but valuations remain high.
